About Glot

We believe in what we can become together, when we truly understand one another.

So we create the conditions for people to find alignment: helping them say what matters, understand one another and find a shared direction, with room to question and work through differences along the way.

What we build

That is why we build Glot: real-time conversation translation across languages, designed to carry context and to help people check what is meant as they talk. Each person speaks their own language and understands the other's, in person or in a video meeting.

It works three ways. Talk: Set it on the table and talk. Glot listens to you both. Duo: Show a code. Each phone that scans it follows in its owner's language. Meet: Share a link. Everyone joins the call and follows in their own language.

Every message shows the translation large, for the person reading it, and the words as spoken small beneath, so the speaker can see what was heard and put it right. Glot runs in the browser with nothing to install, and guests join by a link or a code without an account.

Why it matters

A language barrier is not only a problem of words. When people cannot quite understand each other they align less, trust each other less, and take what is said as less credible, even when it is exactly the same. The cost is human: ideas that never land, decisions that drift, people who seem further apart than they are. Glot exists to take that cost out of the room.

Where we are

Glot is made in London and is in beta. It is free to use within a weekly allowance; paid plans are not set, and accounts will be told before anything changes. What it costs

Which Glot

Other products share the name. Ours is the one at glot.com, with the app at app.glot.com. A page about Glot that is on neither is about something else.

Get in touch

Write to contact@glot.com. While Glot is in beta we read everything, and what people tell us shapes what we build next.
